Born in 1947 in the district of Huallanca, Ancashino poet and writer who received recognized awards for his excellence in writing. It was born in the district of Huallanca in 1947, when the famous Santiago Ant\u00fanez de Mayolo put into practice the facilities of the Pato canyon that allowed Chimbote to be a powerhouse with electrical energy.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Mar\u00eda Dictenia Alvarado Trujillo was born in Malvas, Huarmey on December 19, 1930, known under the artistic pseudonym Pastorita Huaracina. She was an outstanding singer-songwriter of Andean music from Peru, her popularity was national and international. At the same time, she ventured into radio and television as a producer, director and entertainer, and also developed as a cultural promoter. Carlos Fermin Fitzcarrald<\/h3>

Born in the City of San Luis (Conchucos) on July 6, 1862. He studied at the national school of Huaraz and at the Liceo Peruano de Lima. When his father died, he headed towards eastern Peru in order to try his fortune, and that is where he became an expert rubber tapper and merchant. He became a wealthy man and with his explorations he helped Peru a lot in protecting and delimiting its borders. He died on July 9, 1897, when the boat he was traveling in sank.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Ladislao Meza Landaveri<\/h3>

Born in Huaraz in 1892 Peruvian writer and journalist, born in the city of Huaraz, capital of Ancash. He was called The Bohemian of the Al\u00f3n Hat or simply The Cholo Meza. Partner of Jose Carlos Mari\u00e1tegui and Cesar Falc\u00f3n. Comedian and writer of notable qualities, he died too young in 1925 in the capital of Lime\u00f1a.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Augusto Soriano Infante<\/h3>

He was born in Caraz in 1903. A native of Caraz, he was an archaeologist and founder of the Regional Archaeological Museum of Ancash. He became a Doctor in Theology awarded by the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos. Director of the Huaraz Charity, mayor of Huaraz. In 1934 he founded, with several intellectuals from Ancash, the Society of Archaeological and Folklore Studies, whose goal was the founding of a museum. He died in Lima in 1974.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Teresa Gonz\u00e1lez de Fanning<\/h3>

Nepe\u00f1a, Ancash August 12, 1836 Peruvian educator, writer and journalist. Considered as the precursor of the comprehensive education of women, with a practical connotation, which included their job training, so that they could achieve their liberation, at a time (19th century and early 20th century) when it was still believed that training feminine had to be oriented exclusively for marriage and conjugal tasks. He died on April 7, 1918, a victim of pneumonia, at the advanced age of 82.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Born on April 16, 1782 in Huaraz. He was the first Peruvian named Marshal. He held administrative positions in the viceregal governments of Chile and Argentina and one of those who helped with the independence of Peru, but fate caused him to commit suicide with a shot to the head when he lived in Argentina.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Rosa Cerna Guardia<\/h3>

She is one of the Peruvian writers with the longest history in creating books for children and young people. In 1957 she published \u201cimages in the water\u201d, a poem with delicate lyricism, which also characterizes her narrative work. Later he published the collections of poems \u201cfigures of time\u201d (1958), \u201cThe sea and the mountains\u201d (1959), \u201c Desde el alba \u201d (1966) and Escrito en Barranco (1987). For her lyrical production, she has been awarded the International Prize for Poetic Prose on the Encyclical of P\u00edo Doce (1955), as well as the Nisei Poetry Prize of Peru for her collection of poems Mis Palabras al viento (1968). Carlos Eduardo Zavaleta<\/h3>

He was born on March 7, 1928 in Caraz, Peru. He is the greatest figure in Ancashian literature and one of the most prominent of the Generation of '50, who introduced into the Peruvian novel the techniques that give way to a new stage in the novel and the story. He spent his childhood and adolescence in the rural environment where he had come into the world, from which he took abundant literary materials to build a good part of his fictional work.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Holy Colony<\/h3>

The Peruvian Saint was a young Huaracina woman born into a very humble family on March 1, 1914. Her name was Sarita Colonia Zambrano. She was the eldest daughter of Amadeo and Rosal\u00eda. She continued her school studies with the French nuns of Saint Therese, showing religious vocation and collaboration in caring for the sick and caring for her family.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
